West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) conducted the West Bengal Police Constable Prelims Exam on 04th August 2019 for the recruitment of 8419 Police Constables in WB Police. On the other hand, the West Bengal Police Result of the Sub-Inspector (SI) has been released for the final written exam conducted for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector and Lady Sub-Inspector of Excise. Selection Process: The West Bengal Police Constable Selection Process involves – Preliminary Written Exam, followed by Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Final Written Exam and the Interview round. Candidates who have qualified the Prelims Exam will now be called to appear for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Physical Measurement Test (PMT): In this round, candidates’ height and weight will be measured through Electronic Machines. Those who fulfil the criteria laid down by the West Bengal Police Recruitment Board will be qualified for the next round – Physical Efficiency Test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET): In the West Bengal Police Constable PET round, candidates need to take part and complete 1600 meter race in a maximum time span of 6 minutes 30 seconds.
