CEPT University UG Courses Admission 2021: Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT University), Ahmedabad has invited online application for admission to Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) Programmes for the Session 2021-22. Interested students can submit the application through online mode on or before 12th April 2021.
CEPT University UG Courses Admission 2021:
1. Bachelor’s in Design
Eligibility: Passed the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities), from Gujarat state board or any other State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/IB, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects. OR Passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of Civil, mechanical, architecture or architectural assistantship stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the program.
2. Bachelor’s in Architecture
Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from an eligible Board from the school located in India (Including Gujarat State) with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time and have obtained a valid score in NATA as prescribed by the Council.
3. Bachelor’s in Construction Technology (BCT)
Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from an eligible Board from the school located in India (Including Gujarat State) with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/Council from time to time and have appeared in JEE (Main) of the corresponding year. As per AICTE, the Candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies and have obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.
4. Bachelor’s in Interior Design (BID)
Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared the qualifying examination from an eligible Board from the school located in India (Including Gujarat State) with minimum eligibility criteria as prescribed by AICTE/ Council from time to time have obtained valid score in NATA as prescribed by the Council.
5. Bachelor’s in Urban Design
Eligibility: Passed the qualifying examination (Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination) or its equivalent examination from any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities), from Gujarat state board or any other State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects. Passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of any stream with 50% aggregate marks from Technical Board of Gujarat or any other state or from a college/university established under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the program.
Admission Process: Procedure for Admissions to Bachelor’s in Design (B.Des) Program in Faculty of Design for the Academic year 2021-22
Stage 1 – Scrutiny for eligibility: All applications received will be scrutinized based on information provided/uploaded in the application forms. This scrutiny is to check whether the applicant meets the eligibility criteria. Only those applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and pass the scrutiny will be considered for Stage 2 (Merit list).
Stage 2 – Preparation of merit list: All eligible applications will be examined, and marks tallied for 12th HSC or equivalent exam and the UCEED Score. Candidates will be selected based on the UCEED Score.
Stage 3 – The final list of merit orders would be based on the weightage – UCEED Score.
Application Fee: The application fee for Bachelor’s in Design will be Rs. 1500/- (inclusive of taxes).
