Qualification: The related University with at least 55 percent marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading systems is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from au Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the applicant must have clear the NET (National Eligibility Test) Conducted by the UGC. Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a PhD degree iii accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum standard and Procedure for award or PhD degree) regulations. 2018 and their amendment from time to time as the case may be, are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
