Post Matric Scholarship
Achieving a goal, while getting educated needs all of us to get through some small, but important milestones. Matric is one of them, which one needs to go through. For the economically weak and academically talented students a post matric scholarship is notified by the scholarship India.
Post Matric Scholarship is a centrally sponsored scheme that has been started by the Central Government and is implemented through state government administration and union territories administration. Under this scheme financial assistance to scheduled caste students is provided at the post-matric level so that they can continue with their education without facing any financial hurdles. It must be noted that the scheme is available for getting education only in India. This scheme is awarded by the Government of the state where the applicant permanently resides. The total number of slots under this scheme is 4200. Under this scheme, SC students pursuing studies beyond 12th class will be given scholarships.
For the students who have been good at studies and are willing to continue their studies further are hereby informed with a Post Matric scholarship. This scholarship is for the students who just have passed the class 10th examination or equivalent class.
Eligibility: Students who have passed their 10th standard examination in the year 2021 are eligible for the scholarship. Students willing to apply for the scholarship must have the passing certificate from any national(CBSE/ICSE) or state board. Student must have scored greater than 70% in their board exams.
Age Limit: Applicant must be above 14 and less than 18 years of age at the time of submission of application. Application will be considered null and void if the age criteria found to be incorrect.
