Selection Process: The candidates have to go through Written test. Selection will be based on written test. The duration of test will be 2 and half hour.

Exam Pattern: There will be two phases of written test. The Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for a written test i.e. First phase test & Second phase test. Details of both test as following below:

# Ist Phase (For Junior Assistant & Chemist): There will be first phase test of 100 marks (100 questions) each will carry 1 mark. It will be divided in to 5 subjects (i) General Mathematics, (ii) Language, (iii) Logical Reasoning and Aptitude, (iv) History, Geography, Political Science, Economy etc of India and Assam & (v) General awareness/ General knowledge and Current affairs.

  1. There will be completely OMR based questions.
  2. The duration of test will be 2 and half hour.
  3. There will be negative marking of 1/2 mark for each wrong answer.
  4. The candidates will have to use black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.

# Ist Phase (For Driver): There will be written test of 50 marks (50 questions) each will carry 1 mark. It will be divided in to 3 subjects (i) Elementary Arithmetic, (ii) Vernacular Language & (iii) Basic General Awareness/ General knowledge.

  1. There will be completely OMR based questions.
  2. The duration of test will be 1 and half hour.
  3. There will be no any negative marking.
  4. The candidates will have to use black ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheet.

 

# IInd Phase: There will be second phase test for those candidate who will be qualifying in the first phase test. It will be computer based exam to test the knowledge of posts applied and proficiency of computer operations. For the post of driver skill test will also be included in the second phase test.

Documents to be submitted when appearing in IInd Phase:

  1. Certificate of proof of Age (Admit card of HSLC or equivalent examination).
  2. Certificate & mark sheet of minimum educational qualification for concerned posts.
  3. Certificate on Computer Proficiency for the posts of Jr. Assistant.
  4. A valid four wheeler driving License (LMV) issued by Competent Authority for the post of Driver.
  5. Certificate of caste from the Competent Authority in respect of the candidates belonging to OBC/ MOBC, SC, ST (P) & ST (H).
  6. PwD certificate issued by Competent Authority (for PwD candidates).
  7. Ex-Servicemen certificate issued by competent authority (for Ex-Servicemen candidates).
  8. EWS certificate from Competent Authority.
  9. 2 (two) copies of recent passport size photographs.
