KVASU UG/PG/Diploma/Ph.D. Courses Admission 2020: Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Thiruvazhamkunnu has invited online application for admission to various UG, PG, Diploma and Ph.D. Courses offered in Regular and Technology-Enabled (Distance Learning) for the Session 2020-21.

A. Regular Programmes
1. UG Courses: B.Sc. Poultry production and Business Management course etc.
2. PG Courses: M.V.Sc, M.Tech, M.S. Wildlife Studies, M.Sc. Biostatistics, M.Sc. Quality Control in Dairy Industry, M.Sc. Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, M.Sc. Animal Biotechnology, M.Sc. Animal Science etc.
3. PG Diploma Courses: Post Graduate Diploma in Climate Services in Animal Agriculture, Climate Services, Veterinary Cardiology, Veterinary Anaesthesiology etc.
4. Diploma Courses: Diploma in Poultry Production, Laboratory Techniques, Dairy Science, Feed Technology etc.
5. Ph.D. Courses: Ph.D. in Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Dairy Sciences and Technology, Biosciences, Climate Change in Animal Agriculture
B. Technology-Enabled Programmes (Distant Learning Courses offered)
1. PG Diploma & Diploma Courses: Post Graduate Diploma in Ethnopharmacology, One Health, Toxicologic Pathology, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, Therapeutic Management of Infectious Diseases of Pet Animals and Pet Birds, Poultry Entrepreneurship & Diploma in Integrated Farming Systems (Malayalam), Poultry Entrepreneurship, Dairy Entrepreneurship, Post Graduate Certificate in Veterinary Homoeopathy etc.
Eligibility Details:
– For UG & Diploma Courses: Passed Senior Secondary Examination /10 + 2 in the respective/related subject recognized by University.
– For PG & PG Diploma Courses: Passed Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science/ Food Technology/ Food Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Food science/ Nutrition & Dietetics / Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Biochemistry with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized University.
– For PhD: Passed Masters Degree in the respective/related subject recognized by University with OGPA of 7.5/10 or equivalent OGPA/ equivalent
percentage of marks at Master’s Degree level. For SC/ST candidates the OGPA shall be 7.0/10 or equivalent
Selection Process:
– For Ph.D. Programs: Selection shall be done from the rank list prepared on the basis of the OGPA secured in the qualifying exam, score in the entrance exam, Publications, Experience and viva-voce conducted by the committee constituted by the University.
– For M.V.Sc. Programs: Selection shall be done from the rank list prepared on the basis of the OGPA secured in the qualifying exam, score in the entrance exam, experience, publications, extracurricular activities if any and viva- voce conducted by the committee constituted by the University, Preference will be given to the graduates of KVASU and students completed 7 years of study in Kerala/ Kerala origin.
– For M.Tech. Programs: Selection shall be done from the rank list prepared on the basis of the OGPA secured in the qualifying exam, score in the entrance exam, experience, publications, extracurricular activities if any and viva- voce conducted by the committee constituted by the University
– For M.S. & M.Sc. Programs: Selection will be alone from the rank list prepared by the University on the basis of the performance in entrance examination and viva- voce conducted by the committee constituted by the University.
– For B.Sc. (P.P.&B.M.): Selection will be from the rank list prepared by the University on the basis of the performance in entrance examination conducted by the University.
– For PG Diploma and Diploma Programs: Selection is based on the rank obtained by the candidate in the entrance examination conducted by the University.
– For Technology Enabled Distant Learning Programs: Open selection, based on the merit of the candidate.
