AFCAT 02/2020 Registration: Indian Air Force (IAF), New Delhi has invited online applications for the Air Force Common Admission Online Test (AFCAT) – 02/2020 For Flying Branch and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical)/ NCC Special Entry/ Meteorology Entry. The courses commencing in July 2021 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) (Men and Women) in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.
Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct AFCAT (2) 2020 Exam on 19th and 20th September 2020 for the recruitment of 256 vacancies under Group-A Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches.
AFCAT 02/2020 Registration:
1. Flying Branch Short Service Commission (SSC) Men /Women: 74 Vacancies
Pay Scale: Level 10 ₹ 56100 – 110700 plus numerous allowances.
2. Ground Duty Branch (Technical): 66 Vacancies in Aeronautical Engineering Electronics (AE(L) Men) (Permanent Commission (PC) – 40, Short Service Commission (SSC) – 26)
Pay Scale: Level 10 ₹ 56100 – 110700 plus numerous allowances.
3. Ground Duty Branch (Technical): 39 Vacancies in Aeronautical Engineering Mechanical (AE(M) Men / Women) (Permanent Commission (PC) – 23, SSC – 16)
Pay Scale: Level 10 ₹ 56100 – 110700 plus numerous allowances.
4. Ground Duty Branch (Non-Technical) – Admin (Men): 39 Vacancies (Permanent Commission (PC) – 23, SSC – 16)

7. Meteorology Entry: 22 Vacancies (Permanent Commission (PC) Men – 10, Short Service Commission (SSC) – 12 Men/Women)
Pay Scale: Level 10 ₹ 56100 – 110700 plus numerous allowances.
Application Fee: Click on the link “MAKE PAYMENT”- Online (applicable only for AFCAT). The examination fee of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) for AFCAT entry (not applicable for NCC special entry) can be paid online. No cash or cheque or demand draft (DD) will be accepted towards payment of examination fee. The examination fee can be paid using Credit/ Debit Cards/ Net Banking through the payment gateway.
Mode of Communication: While filling in the application form, the applicants must ensure that they provide their valid and active e-mail IDs as the IAF would use the electronic mode of communication while contacting them at different stages throughout the selection process. On successful submission of the online application form, the candidate will receive a confirmatory e-mail on their registered e-mail ID. As such, all communication to the IAF should invariably contain the following particulars without which no request would be entertained.
(i) Branch, Course Number, and Year of Examination.
(ii) Transaction Number (for queries on payment).
(ii) Registration Number (as given in Payment Status & Admit Card).
(iii) Hall Ticket Number (as given in Admit Card).
(iv) Name of Applicant (in full and in block letters)
