Department of Social Security and Women & Child Development (SSWCD Punjab), Chandigarh has invited online applications for the recruitment of Translator, Interpreter, and Special Educator Positions 2025. Selection will be done on the basis of test/interview and shortlisted candidates will be appointed at Chandigarh.
SSWCD Punjab Translator & Interpreter Vacancies 2025:
1. Translator
Qualification: i) Master’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent in Punjabi or English with English or Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level or ii) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Punjabi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Punjabi to English and vice-versa in Central or State government offices, including Government of India undertaking.
Pay Scale: INR 72072-150000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 62 Years
2. Interpreter / Sign Language Interpreter
Qualification: i) Indian Sign Language Course at Level-C/Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpretation (DISLI). ii) Registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India.
Pay Scale: INR 72072-150000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Maximum 62 Years
3. Special Educator
Qualification: i) Graduation from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate. ii) Bachelor of Education Degree (Special Education) recognized by RCI with at least 50% marks in aggregate and valid registration with RCI.
Pay Scale: INR 72072-150000/- Per Month
