1. Probationary Officers (PO): 541 Posts (Regular-500, Backlog-41) (UR-203, EWS-50, OBC-135, SC-80, ST-73) (PWD-20),
Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Those who are in the Final year/Semester of their Graduation may also apply,
Age Limit: 21-30 Years as of 01/04/2024, relaxation in age for reserved category candidates is as per rules,
Pay Scale: ₹48480-85920, the candidates will start with basic pay of ₹48480/- (with 4 advance increments) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I)
Selection Process: Any eligible job seeker candidate, looking for a career as a Probationary Officer (PO) is required to register online at the SBI website for the PO Recruitment Process 2025-2026. The SBI Recruitment Examination of PO 2025 will be held in three phases i.e. Preliminary examination (Objective Type of 100 marks and Online), Main examination, and Group Exercise & Interview. The candidates who are shortlisted after the SBI PO Preliminary examination 2025 which will be conducted in July/August 2025, will have to appear for the Main examination (Objective Type of 200 marks and online) in the month of September 2025.
The candidates shortlisted after the main examination will be subsequently called for Group Exercises & Interview in October/November 2025.
Exam Process: The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three-Phase process:
– Phase-I: Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online of 1 hour duration
– Phase-II: The Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective tests for 200 marks and Descriptive test for 50 marks of 3 hours and 30 minutes
– Phase-III: Comprise of (a) Psychometric Test (b) Group Exercise (c) Personal Interview – of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase-III
Application Fee: An application fee of ₹750/- (No fee for ₹120/- SC/ST/PWD candidates) to be paid online.
