Eastern Railway Group C & D (Sports Quota) Vacancies 2025:
1. Group ‘C’: 05 Posts
Qualification: Passed Graduation or its equivalent examination in any discipline from a Govt. recognized University/ Institution.
Pay Scale: Level-4/Level-5 (7thCPC) GP Rs.2400/2800 (6th CPC)
Age Limit: Minimum Age 18 Years, Maximum Age 25 Years. The date of reckoning of age shall be 01.01.2026. No age relaxation (Upper or Lower) shall be permissible.
2. Group ‘C’: 12 Posts
Qualification: Passed class 12th (10+2 stage) or its equivalent examination. Educational Qualification must be from a Govt. recognized Board / Council / Institutions etc. OR Passed Matriculation from recognize Board plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship OR Passed class 10th from Govt. recognized Board / Council / Institutions etc. plus ITI passed OR its equivalent examination or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.[Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered].
Pay Scale: Level-2/Level-3 (7thCPC) GP Rs.1900/2000 (6th CPC)
Age Limit: Minimum Age 18 Years, Maximum Age 25 Years. The date of reckoning of age shall be 01.01.2026. No age relaxation (Upper or Lower) shall be permissible.
3. Erstwhile Group ‘D’: 33 Posts
Qualification: Passed class 10th or its equivalent examination OR ITI passed OR its equivalent examination OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. Education Qualification from a Govt. recognized Board/Council/ Institutes etc. [Minimum educational qualification should be as applicable to the post offered].
Pay Scale: Level-1 (7th PC) GP Rs.1800/ (6th CPC)
Age Limit: Minimum Age 18 Years, Maximum Age 25 Years. The date of reckoning of age shall be 01.01.2026. No age relaxation (Upper or Lower) shall be permissible.
Application Fee:
– For UR-Male, OBC-Male, EWS-Male: Rs.500/- with a provision for refunding Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred Only) to those who are found eligible as per notification and actually appear in the Field Trial, after deducting bank charges.
– For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes: Rs. 250/-
