The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB), New Delhi has invited online applications for the recruitment of Assistant Teacher (Primary) Positions 2025. Candidates with B.Ed, Diploma, 12TH, B.El.Ed can apply online before 16th October 2025.
DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary) Vacancies 2025:
1. Assistant Teacher (Primary): 1180 Posts
Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) regulations – 2002. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.). Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) from a recognized Board. Graduation and two years Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from a recognized Board
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Must have passed Hindi or Urdu or Punjabi or English as a subject at Secondary level. 12th pass with 50% marks (5% relaxation in case of SC / ST) from a recognized board. Two years Diploma in Primary Education / Certificate Course in ETE / JBT / DIET / B.El.Ed. from a recognized institution. Must have passed Hindi as a subject in 10th class.
Pay Scale: 35,400 – 1,12,400/- (Pay Level – 6), Group: ‘B’ (General Central Service, Non-Ministerial, Non-Gazetted)
Age Limit: Maximum age not exceeding 30 Years. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
