The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA), Andaman & Nicobar Administration is inviting applications from eligible Past Champion Athletes to work at Khelo India Centres in the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. These positions are purely contractual for a one-year tenure.
Andaman & Nicobar Engagement of Past Champion Athletes for Khelo India Centres 2025:
1. N&M Andaman
– Vivekananda Stadium, Diglipur : Archery : 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.
Qualification: 12th Pass
Age Limit: Maximum age shall not be more than 40 years on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation may be considered in deserving cases.
– Forest Ground, Baratang : Hockey: 01
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.
Age Limit: Maximum age shall not be more than 40 years on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation may be considered in deserving cases.
2. Nicobar
– Football Ground, Mini Stadium, Campbell Bay : Football : 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.
Age Limit: Maximum age shall not be more than 40 years on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation may be considered in deserving cases.
– Football Ground, Indira Park Ground, Kamorta : Volleyball : 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.

– BJR Stadium : Car Nicobar : Badminton : 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.

3. South Andaman
– Netaji Stadium : Sri Vijaya Puram : Athletics : 01 Post
Remuneration: ₹25,000 per month
Tenure: 1 year (contractual basis), with potential for extension based on performance.
Age Limit: Maximum age shall not be more than 40 years on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation may be considered in deserving cases.
Eligibility Criteria:
1st Preference:
Individual Sports: Represented India at recognized International Competition under recognized NSF/Association of respective Sports.
Team Sports: Represented India at recognized International Competition under recognized NSF/Association of respective sport.
2nd Preference:
Individual Sports: Medal Winner at Senior National Past Championship conducted by recognized NSF.
Team Sports: Part of medal-winning team at Senior National Past Championship conducted by recognized NSF.
3rd Preference:
Individual Sports: Medal winner at Khelo India Games OR Medal Winner at National AIU Past Championship.
Team Sports: Part of medal-winning team at Khelo India Games OR Part of medal-winning team at National AIU past championship.
4th Preference:
Individual Sports: Represented State/UT in Senior National Past Championships conducted by recognized NSF or participation in Khelo India Games.
Team Sports: Represented State/UT in Senior National Past Championships conducted by recognized NSF or participation in Khelo India Games.
Note: Past Champion Athletes/Coaches with NIS Certification could also be considered eligible.
