The Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (Northern Region), Delhi has invited online application for a one-year Apprenticeship Training Program for the year 2025-26. This program is for eligible Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The training will take place at various airports in the Northern Region.
AAI Graduate/Diploma & ITI Apprentice Vacancies 2025:
1. Graduate (Degree) Apprentices
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 15,000 (Rs. 10,500 AAI Share + Rs. 4,500 Govt. Share through DBT)
Duration of Training: The duration of the apprenticeship training for all categories is 1 year (12 months) from the commencement of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Qualification: Graduate/Diploma: Candidates must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in the mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as on August 11, 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD will be as per Government of India guidelines.
2. Technical (Diploma) Apprentices
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 12,000 (Rs. 8,000 AAI Share + Rs. 4,000 Govt. Share through DBT)
Duration of Training: The duration of the apprenticeship training for all categories is 1 year (12 months) from the commencement of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Qualification: Graduate/Diploma: Candidates must possess a full-time (regular) four-year degree or three-year (regular) diploma in Engineering in the mentioned streams, recognized by AICTE, GOI.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as on August 11, 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD will be as per Government of India guidelines.
3. Trade Apprentices (ITI)
Monthly Stipend: Rs. 9,000
Duration of Training: The duration of the apprenticeship training for all categories is 1 year (12 months) from the commencement of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
Qualification: Candidates must possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in Computer Operator Programming Assistant & Steno trades from institutions recognized by AICTE, GOI.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 26 years as on August 11, 2025. Relaxation in the upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD will be as per Government of India guidelines.
The apprenticeship program offers positions in the following fields of specialization/discipline:
a. Graduate (Bachelor of Engg./Tech. / BCA)
– Civil: 7 seats
– Electrical: 6 seats
– Electronics: 6 seats
– Computer Science/Information Technology: 2 seats
– Mechanical/Automobile: 3 seats
– BCA: 9 seats
b. Diploma
– Civil: 26 seats
– Electrical: 25 seats
– Electronics: 23 seats
– Computer Science/Information Technology: 6 seats
– Mechanical/Automobile: 6 seats
– Computer Application/Computer Application & Business Management: 10 seats
c. ITI/Trade
– Computer Operator Programming Assistant: 60 seats
– Steno: 8 seats
Locations: Apprenticeship training will be conducted at various airports and offices in the Northern Region, including but not limited to: Adampur, Agra, Aligarh, Amritsar, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Bathinda, Bikaner, CATC, Chitrakoot, Dehradun, Farrukhabad, Fursatganh, Gorakhpur, Gwalior, Hindon, Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kangra, Kanpur, Khajuraho, Kishangarh, Kullu, Kushinagar, Leh, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Meerut, Moradabad, Pantnagar, Pathankot, Pithoragarh, Prayagraj, Safdarjung, Shravasti, Shimla, Srinagar, Udaipur, Varanasi, and various offices in New Delhi. Selected candidates will preferably be posted at locations in the Northern Region & Madhya Pradesh based on their registration location (in portal).
Selection Process:
– Provisional Selection: The provisional selection of the candidate shall be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Date of birth and thereafter date of passing will be taken as seniority in case of equal percentage of marks of the candidates. CGPA shall be converted into percentage as per the norms of the concerned Educational Board/University.
– Document Verification: Eligible candidates shall be called for document verification at the establishment office through registered email-ids only. The date, time and venue for document verification shall be intimated accordingly. Candidates would be required to furnish original documents and submit self-attested copies and soft copies thereof. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview/Document verification through their registered email IDs only.
– Medical Examination: Final selection of the candidates in each seat shall be made after verification of documents and found fit in medical examination. The Medical Fitness Certificate is to be obtained only from a Government Medical officer/Medical Officer of a Government Undertaking at the time of joining. Shortlisted candidates merely attending the document verification process or medical examination does not entitle selection of his candidature.
– Final Selection: After document verification and obtaining process or medical fitness certificate the candidates shall be selected for training, based on merit and apprentice engagement letter shall be issued. The final selection will be based on Interview/verification of documents and submission of Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.

How to Apply: Candidates should register themselves on the concerned portal (NATS/NAPS) prior to applying for apprenticeship training in AAI. Registered Applications received online through NATS/NAPS portal will only be considered; other correspondence will not be entertained. After successful application, a confirmation message will be shown by the portal. No application fee is being charged. Candidates applying for more than one discipline will not be considered and their application will be rejected.
