The Indian Navy, Ernakulam has invited online applications for the recruitment of Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer Positions 2025. Selection will be done on the basis of test/interview and shortlisted candidates will be appointed at Anywhere in India.
Indian Navy SSC Officer Vacancies 2025:
1. Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer: 260 Posts
Pay Scale: INR 1,10,000/- Per Month
Age Limit: Born Between (Both Dates inclusive) 02 Jul 2001 to 01 Jan 2007.
Branch/ Cadre Name:
a. Executive Branch {GS(X)/ Hydro Cadre}: 57 Posts (including 05 Hydro)
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
b. Pilot: 24 Posts
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks. (Candidate must have 60% aggregate marks in class X and XII and minimum 60% marks in English in class X or class XII).
c. Naval Air Operations Officer (Observers): 20 Posts
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in any discipline with First Class or MBA with First Class, or B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Sc.(IT) with First class along with PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or MCA/ M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
d. Air Traffic Controller (ATC): 20 Posts
Qualification: A degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an advocate under Advocates Act,1961, with minimum 55% marks. Candidates applying for this entry should be from a college/university recognized by Bar Council of India.
e. Logistics: 10 Posts
Qualification: M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks in (Maths/ Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc.
f. Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre (NAIC): 20 Posts
Qualification: M.Sc. with minimum 60% marks in Physics/ Applied Physics (with Maths in B.Sc)/ Meteorology/ Oceanology/ Atmoshpheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths in B.Sc).
g. Law: 02 Posts
Qualification: BE/ B.Tech with minimum 60% marks in Mechanical/ Production Engineering.
h. Education: 15 Posts
Qualification: ME/ M.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in Thermal/ Production Engineering/ Machine Design/ System and Controls/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths at graduation level).
i. Engineering Branch {General Service (GS)}: 36 Posts
Qualification: ME/ M.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in Thermal/ Production Engineering/ Machine Design/ System and Controls/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths at graduation level).
j. Electrical Branch {General Service (GS)}: 40 Posts
Qualification: ME/ M.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in Thermal/ Production Engineering/ Machine Design/ System and Controls/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths at graduation level).
k. Naval Constructor: 16 Posts
Qualification: ME/ M.Tech. with minimum 60% marks in Thermal/ Production Engineering/ Machine Design/ System and Controls/ Manufacturing/ Mechatronics/ Meteorology/ Oceanography/ Atmospheric Sciences (with Physics and Maths at graduation level).
Selection Process: Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalised using formulae mentioned in Join Indian Navy website.
