The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Gandhinagar), Gujarat has invited online applications for the recruitment of Project Scientist and Project Manager Positions 2025. Selection will be done on the basis of test/interview and shortlisted candidates will be appointed at Gujarat.
IIT Gandhinagar Project Scientist & Project Manager Vacancies 2025:
1. Project Scientist-I
Qualification: Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidate should have a good academic record throughout, and the percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above, and 55% or equivalent grade in 10th and 12th. Experience in power converters and drives, design and control using FPGA/DSP, know-how of power engineering simulations and modelling, along with power hardware experience. Experience in power electronics and instrumentation is preferred. Knowledge of machine learning is needed.
Pay Scale: INR 77000-125000/- Per Month

2. Project Scientist-II
Qualification: Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent and three years’ experience in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or S&T organizations and scientific activities and services.
Pay Scale: INR 77000-125000/- Per Month

3. Project Manager:
Qualification: Doctoral degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university or equivalent. The candidate should have a good academic record throughout, and the percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualifications will be a minimum of 60% or equivalent in Graduation and above, and 55% or equivalent grade in 10th and 12th. Experience in project handling, laboratory equipment procurement, and management, along with human resources hiring and management, will be preferred.
Pay Scale: INR 77000-125000/- Per Month
