The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an open competitive Computer Based Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level (CHSL) Examination 2025 between 8-18 September, 2025 for recruitment of various positions (Tier-I) which are Group-C category jobs for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.
Therefore, SSC invites online applications in the prescribed format for the recruitment of the following vancies of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators etc. for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations/ Offices of the Government of India through CHSL 2025.
SSC Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Exam 2025:
1. Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
3. Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
4. Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-5 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹29200-92300
5. Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’ in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
Age Limit: 18-27 years as of 01/01/2026.
Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) – 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
Selection Process: The CHSL Recruitment Examination 2025 will consist of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Skill
Application Fee: An application fee of ₹100/- to be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
