Staff Selection Commission (SSC), New Delhi has been released answer key for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Tier I examination 2019. Candidates are required to check their answers in the response sheet and can challenge any question/answer if they find it to be wrong. However, candidates need to pay Rs. 100 per question/answer challenged. The Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-I) – 2018 was conducted by the Commission from 4th June 2019 to 13th June 2019 at different centres all over the country. Re-examination for some venues was also conducted by the Commission on 19th June 2019.
SSC CGL Information:
SSC CGL Tier-II: This Exam is an objective exam which will be conducted online. The exam comprises of four Papers – Quantitative Abilities, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics and General Studies (Finance & Economics). Paper-I and Paper-II are compulsory for all posts. Paper-III will be for only those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) and who are shortlisted in Tier-I for this Post/Paper. Paper-IV will be for only those candidates who are shortlisted in Tier-I for Paper-IV, i.e., for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer/ Assistant Accounts Officer.
SSC CGL Tier-III: This Exam is a descriptive paper which will be taken offline via pen and paper mode. In this exam, candidates’ language proficiency, grammar knowledge, vocabulary usage and writing skills will be tested in English/Hindi.
SSC CGL Tier-IV: This exam comprises of a couple of skill tests which are required for certain government posts and document verification procedure: DEST (Data Entry Speed Test), CPT (Computer Proficiency Test) and Document Verification.
Steps to Check SSC CGL Answer Key 2019: All candidates who have appeared in exam can login to check the SSC CGL answer key. Here is the step by step guide to check answer key from ssc.nic.in.
Step 1: Go to ssc.nic.in. There you will see the notification for answer key issuance. Click it.
Step 2: The notification PDF file opens. Read it to know relevant dates and scroll down to click on link available.
Step 3: Now you have reached the SSC answer key module page. Click on the link to go to login.
Step 4: This takes you to the SSC CGL Answer Key 2018-2019 login. Enter your roll number, same as in admit card of SSC CGL, and password. Submit them to login.
Step 5: As soon as you login, instructions for answer key pop up. Read it all and scroll down to click on close button.
Step 6: You see two tabs. First is for question paper and answer key. Click it and then click on generate link that appears on page.
Step 7: Immediately, the question paper with answers and responses open. The questions appear section wise. Correct option is marked with green tick. Towards right top corner of every question, you can see status of your answer and answer marked.
Important Instructions For Raising Objections:
- The correct answer is marked in the question paper in green color.
If you find answer to be incorrect, and you have valid proof of it, then you should raise objection.
- You can enter objections in English only.
- You should clearly write the reason for objection in space provided for it.
- SSC has instructed that candidates cannot not use Wikipedia, Yahoo answers, Quora.com, private websites, blogs as sources.
- However, you can use websites of government bodies, universities, educational bodies, and websites that end with .edu, .org.
- For questions of literature, grammar, verbal or non verbal communication, candidates should provide clear and unambiguous explanations.
- For mathematics and such calculation based questions, complete solution should be provided.
