Periyar University, Salem invites online and offline application for admission to full-time M.Phil. Programme offered in the affiliated University Departments of Periyar University for the Academic Year 2019-20.
Periyar University Admission 2019:
1. M.Phil Programme
Duration: Full-Time – 1 Year
Eligibility Criteria: Degree of Master of Arts/Master of Science / Master of Commerce/Master of Education of any University recognised by the Syndicate as equivalent thereto, provided that those who have qualified for the Master’s Degree prior to 1st January 1991 have secured a minimum of 50% of marks, and those who have qualified for the Master’s Degree on or after 1st January 1991 have secured a minimum of 55% of marks in the Master’s Degree.
Selection Procedure: Admission to M.Phil Degree programme is based on the marks obtained in qualifying entrance examination and Interview as per M.Phil regulations of Periyar University. The number of seats are limited in the programmes offered by the Departments. Selection is based on merit and communal roster system of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu
