North Maharashtra University Admission 2019: MSW Program Eligibility & Selection Form

North Maharashtra University (NMU), Jalgaon invites online application for Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the Master of Social Work (MSW) in University School and affiliated Colleges /University Department for the academic year 2019-20. Interested candidates can apply for Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) Course in University School and affiliated Colleges.

1. Common Entrance Examination (CET): A Common Entrance Examination procedure will be adopted for admission to first year courses at the affiliated colleges and University Department for Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) Program.
Eligibility: Candidates appeared for any Bachelor’s Degree from recognized University. A Bachelor’s Degree of minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirement of 15 years formal education). The minimum requirement for admission to the M.S.W. degree programme is Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Arts, Science, Commerce, Law, Home Science, or any other faculty or a recognized University with a minimum of 45 % marks. Higher academic degrees or diplomas in Social Sciences and experience of working with people will be an additional qualification.

Seats Allocation: Admission for Master of Social Work to the following University School/Affiliated Colleges are available on the basis of score in the Common Entrance Test (CET):

SSS’S Dr.B.R.Ambedkar College of Social Work Morane Nakane , Dhule [60 Seats]
Mahatma Fuley College of Social Work, Taloda [60 Seats]

Exam Pattern: The Entrance Test will consist of:
The mode of entrance examination will be offline in the form of OMR Sheet
The question paper will consist of only objective questions.
Each question has four options out of each only one is correct.
Entrance examination consists of a single paper of 60 minutes duration that contains 60 questions carrying a maximum of 60 Marks
Candidate should darken in the entire circle
Use black ball point pen for darkening the circle.
Written Test (60 Marks)
Group Discussion (20 Marks)
Personal Interview (20 Marks)

Admission Process: Application Receipt Center (ARC –Following Centers will be responsible for-
Collection of the Application form printout and necessary documents along with D.D. as attached with form.
Issuing Receipt Acknowledgement slip.
Verification of documents submitted by the candidate and inwarding the application form online.

Examination Center: Following colleges will act as Entrance Examination Center for as below

SW02 – VWS’S Arts, Commerce, Sciences College Dhule [Dhule]

Application Process: Application form should be filled online on the website www.nmu,ac.in and computer-generated hard copy (print out) should be submitted to the nearby Social Work Colleges ARC (Application Receipt Center) before 30th June 2019 along with necessary documents and D.D
