NIS Chennai Ph.D. Program Admission 2021: National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai has invited online applications for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Program for the Session 2021-22. Interested students can apply through the online and offline mode before 15th March 2021.
NIS Chennai Ph.D. Program Admission 2021:
The following specialties are recognized for conducting Ph.D programme:-
a) Pothu Maruthuvam
b) Gunapadam
c) Sirappu Maruthuvam
d) Kuzhandai Maruthuvam
e) Noi Naadal
f) Nanju Maruthuvam
Eligibility: Candidate seeking admission to the course of study leading to award of Doctor of Philosophy should have obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Siddha, in concerned subject under Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.
Age Limit: Age of the candidate applying for PhD programme should not exceed 32 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
Selection Process: Applications are invited through newspaper advertisement. Service candidates must submit their application through competent authority. The Selection of the candidate will be made on the basis of merit based on written examination with minimum qualifying marks of 55% for General and OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates followed by interview by the Selection Committee, consisting of Director, Dean Guide and a Senior faculty in the concerned speciality for the purpose.
