NEHU UG, PG & PhD Courses Admission 2020: North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong has invited online applications for the admission to various UG, PG and PhD Courses for Session 2020. Interested students can apply online and offline before 01st December 2020.
NEHU UG, PG & PhD Courses Admission 2020:
1. BA LLB (Hons)
Qualification: Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary Exam (10+2) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in aggregate for General and 45% for SC/ST from a recognized University/Board are eligible for applying this course. Admission will be as per merit secured in the admission test conducted by the department.
2. B.Tech in Information Technology (IT), Electronics Communication Engineering (ECE), Energy Engineering, Biomedical Engineering
Qualification: Candidates who has passed 10+2 in Science stream or its equivalent from any recognized Board having secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical vocational subjects (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates); (b) A candidates must have valid positive JEE (Main) score.
3. B.Arch
Qualification: The first year of the Bachelors’ Degree Program in Architecture if he/she has secured a minimum of at least 50% marks in aggregate at the Higher Secondary or equivalent (10+2) level with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subject of the exam.
4. M.Tech in Information Technology, Electronics Communication Engineering & Nanotechnology
Qualification: A candidate who has passed BE./B.Tech or MCA or M.Sc in specialization having secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (relaxable by 5% for SC/ST candidates). GATE qualified candidates will be given due weightage.
5. MBA (Agri-Business & Food Technology)
Qualification: A candidate with 55% marks (relaxable up to 5% for SC/ST candidates) in the aggregate in B.Sc (Life Sciences, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Micro-biology, Biochemistry, Food Preservation, Agriculture, Food Technology) or any graduate in Agriculture Science/Technology/Animal Husbandry, shall only be considered for admission (eligible candidates need to appear any of the MAT Test (May, September December 2019 And February 2020).
6. MTTM
Qualification: Candidates with 3 Years Bachelor’s Degree Course (10+2+3) or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (45% for SC/ST candidates) shall ordinarily be considered for admission.
7. M.Sc in Horticulture
Qualification: Candidates who have passed a B.Sc (Horticulture)/B.Sc(Agr.) with a minimum 4 Years or 8 semester programme of the university or an equivalent exam recognized by the university with minimum of 55% or equivalent CGPA with 5% lower achievement for sc.st candidates.
8. PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Energy Engineering, Nanotechnology & Management
Qualification: Post graduate/Master degree passed.
