MoST India Biotech Industrial Training Program Admission 2020: Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, New Delhi has invited online applications for the admission to the Biotech Industrial Training Programme (BITP) 2020-21, under DBT-Skill Vigyan.
MoST India Biotech Industrial Training Program Admission 2020:
1. Biotech Industrial Training Program
Description: The scheme aims to impart hands on training to Biotechnology students in biotech companies for a period of six months.
Eligibility: Applicant should hold B.E./ B.Tech./ M.Sc./ M.Tech./ M.V.Sc./ MBA in General/ Agricultural/ Industrial/ Marine/ Medical/ Pharmaceutical/ Environmental/ Plant/ Food/ Animal Biotechnology, Molecular & Human Genetics, Molecular Biology & Biotechnology, Neuro-Science, Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology, Bio-process Technology or Bioinformatics from a recognized Indian university with minimum 50% marks or equivalent grade and must have completed their qualifying degree in the year 2018 or 2019 or completing in 2020.
Selection Process: Selection is based on a computer-based entrance test to be held on 03rd January 2020, followed by interview. Candidates will be selected through computer-based test conducted in multiple cities/centers. Selection would be subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. Trainer companies would be provided subject to availability.
Application Fee: Application Fee is Rs.500/- which can be paid by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Biotech Consortium India Limited’, payable at New Delhi.
