Punjab Police Recruitment of Jail Warder & Matron Posts 2021: Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (SSSB Punjab), Chandigarh has invited online applications for the recruitment of Warder and Matron Posts under Punjab Police Jail Department. Interested candidates can apply through the online and offline mode before 31st May 2021.
Punjab Police Recruitment of Jail Warder & Matron Posts 2021:
1. Jail Warder (only for Males)
Qualification: 12th passed with Punjabi upto 10th as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language which may be specified by the Government from time to time.
Age Limit: 18 to 27 Years

– Economic Weaker Section: 82 Vacancies
– Scheduled Caste (M&B): 82 Vacancies
– Scheduled Caste (R&O): 81 Vacancies
– Backward Class: 80 Vacancies
– Ex serviceman (General): 57 Vacancies
– Ex serviceman (SC-M&B): 16 Vacancies
– Ex serviceman (SC-R&O): 16 Vacancies
– Ex serviceman (BC): 17 Vacancies
– Sports (General): 16 Vacancies
– Sports (SC-MTB): 04 Vacancies

– Freedom Fighter: 08 Vacancies
2. Jail Matron (only for females)
Qualification: 12th passed with Punjabi upto 10th as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language which may be specified by the Government from time to time.

– Economic Weaker Section: 03 Vacancies
– Scheduled Caste (M&B): 03 Vacancies
– Scheduled Caste (R&O): 03 Vacancies

– Ex serviceman (General): 03 Vacancies
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in exam, physical measurement test and physical screening test.

General: Rs. 1000.
SC/ BC/ EWS: Rs. 250.
Ex-Servicemen & Dependent: Rs. 200.
