UPSC CMS Exam 2022: Eligibility, Age Limit & Application Form -26 Apr 2022

UPSC CMS Exam 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi will hold the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Recruitment Examination for posts of Medical Officers in various Government Departments on 17th July 2022. Online applications in the prescribed format are invited for Medical Services Exam 2022 by UPSC from suitable candidates for recruitment and selection of various Group-A Medical Officers. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the annual Combined Medical Services Examination 2022. Qualification to Join Central Government Medical Services is MBBS and the maximum age for this recruitment examination is 32 years. (Advertisement No.08/2022-CMS)

UPSC CMS Exam 2022:

1. Medical Officer: 687 Vacancies in various Government departments thru Medical Services Examination 2022,
Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2022. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules,
Qualification: A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.

Open Vacancies in Combined Medical Services Examination 2021 :
1. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services: 314 Vacancies
2. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300 Vacancies
3. General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC): 03 Vacancies
4. General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD): 70 Vacancies

Application Fee: ₹200/- to be paid in any branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI or using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

Withdrawal of Application: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has introduced the facility of withdrawal of applications for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 04/05/2022 to 10/05/2022. UPSC has no provision to refund any fee amount paid by candidates, so in case of successful withdrawal of application, the fees will not be refunded.
