KAU PG & Ph.D Programes Admission 2020: Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Thrissur has invited online applications for admission to two years PG Program and three years PhD Courses offered by the institutions under Kerala Agricultural University for the Academic Year 2020-21. It is informed that students seeking admission to the PG/Ph.D program in KAU (including Agri. Statistics and Community Science [Food Science and Nutrition]) during the Academic Year 2020-21 should appear for AIEEA (PG)-2020 and AICE- JRF/SRF (Ph.D.)-2020 conducted by National Testing Agency.
KAU PG & Ph.D Programes Admission 2020:
1. PG Courses: M Sc. (Agriculture), M Sc. (Horticulture., M Sc. (Community Science). M.Sc. (Agricultural Statistics), M Sc. (Co-operation & Banking), M.Sc. (Forestry) & M Tech (Agricultural Engineering)
Qualification: Candidates should have obtained an equivalent degree from a University/ Institution approved by KAU for admission to various PG/ Ph.D programs. Applications of candidates with relevant qualifications from Universities accredited by ICAR/ State Agricultural Universities/Central Universities/ Central Agricultural Universities/ ICAR Deemed Universities are generally accepted, except for admission to Community Science and Agricultural Statistics.
M. Sc. Program: Bachelor’s degree in the respective subject (Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Community Science/ Agricultural Statistics/ Co-operation & Banking/ Forestry) / equivalent degree recognised by KAU with a OGPA of 7.00/10.00 for general candidates and 6.50/10.00 for SC/ST.
For M Tech. (Agricultural Engineering): A Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering/ Food Engineering or an equivalent degree recognized by KAU with an OGPA of 7.00/10.00 for general candidates and 6.50/10.00 for SC/ST.
2. PhD Courses: Ph.D in Agriculture, Ph.D in Horticulture, Ph.D in Community Science, Ph.D in Rural Marketing Management, Ph.D in Forestry, Ph.D in Agricultural Engineering
Qualification: Master’s Degree in the respective discipline /related discipline from the faculty concerned of KAU or a recognized equivalent qualification with an OGPA of 7.0/10.0 for general category and 6.5/10.0 for SC/ST. A basic degree in Agri./Hort./Ag.Engg./Forestry is essential for all respective Ph.D courses except Community Science and Rural Marketing Management.

For SC/ ST (Native of Kerala only): Rs. 550/-
b. Ph.D Program
For General Category: Rs. 1700/-
For SC/ ST (Native of Kerala only): Rs. 850/-
Selection Process: Selection to the KAU’s Master’s degree programs will be based on score obtained in KAU entrance and ICAR entrance AIEE-PG (50% each), apart from the other selection criteria.
