IIT BHU Varanasi Ph.D Programs Admission 2020: IIT- Banaras Hindu University (IIT BHU), Varanasi has invited online applications for admission to Ph.D. Programs in various departments/schools for the Session 2020-21 (Even Semester).
IIT BHU Varanasi Ph.D Programs Admission 2020:
1. Ph.D Program
Eligibility:
– Ph.D. in Engineering: Applicants with a master’s degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/ area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s degree level.
Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in engineering in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level.
– Ph.D. in Pharmacy: Applicants with a master’s degree in pharmacy or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s degree level. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level.
– Ph.D. in Sciences: Applicants with a master’s degree in science in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s degree level. Applicants with four year bachelor’s degree in Science in the discipline concerned or in an allied discipline/area must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level.
– Ph.D. in Humanistic Studies: Applicants with a Master’s degree in a relevant subject or allied subjects with a minimum CPI of 6.00 on a 10.0 point scale (or 60% marks) in the qualifying degree. Applicants with a Master’s degree in Science or allied subjects with a minimum CPI of 6.00 on a 10.0 point scale (or 60% marks) in the qualifying degree.
– Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary/ Systems Engineering: Applicants with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in any branch of Engineering must have a minimum of 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s degree level. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level.
– Ph.D. in Industrial Management: Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering and a master’s degree in any branch of engineering/ management must have a minimum of 60% or 6.0 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the master’s degree level. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree in any branch of engineering must have a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI (on a 10.0 point scale) at the bachelor’s degree level.
