GNDU Amritsar Recruitment of Professor, Manager & Officer Posts 2021: Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar has invited online applications for the recruitment of Director Research, Professor, Associate Professor, Manager and Other Positions 2021. GNDU Amritsar Recruitment of Professor, Manager & Officer Posts 2021:
1. Director Research: 01 Vacancy
Qualification: (i) Second class Master’s degree and Ph.D. (ii) An eminent scholar with published work of high quality actively engaged in research with ten years of experience in postgraduate teaching and/or research at the University/ national level institutions including experience of guiding research at the doctoral level in the relevant field, out of which at least five years experience must be as University Professor.
2. Professor: 04 Vacancies
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture and first-class Master’s Degree in concerned/allied/relevant subject. A minimum of ten years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, National level Institutions/ Industry, including experience of having guided candidates for research at the doctoral level.
3. Associate Professor: 08 Vacancies
Qualification: (i) Good academic record with a Ph.D. Degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. (ii) A Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). (iii) A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research with evidence of published work and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/ or research/ policy papers.
4. Assistant Professor: 21 Vacancies
Qualification: Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Master’s Degree level in a relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
5. Manager: 01 Vacancy
Qualification: (i) Graduation degree from a recognized University/Institution. (ii) Must have passed the Punjabi language up to Matric standard. (iii) At least fifteen years working experience in any University/educational institute out of which minimum of three years of working experience should be in the guest house/hospitality centre of any University/educational institute with knowledge of handling guest house and University events etc.
6. Officer on Special Duty: 05 Vacancies
Qualification: Serving/Retired approved Principals of the affiliated colleges of Punjab State Universities/Serving/Retired Professor of Universities.
7. Coach: 02 Vacancies
Qualification: B.A with Post Graduate Diploma in Physical Education. Diploma in Canoeing & Kayaking from NIS in the respective game and participation in Inter-University/Senior National/Federation Cup tournament.
8. Driver: 02 Vacancies
Qualification: (i) Matric. (ii) Must have valid driving commercial licenses (which is renewable after three years) of heavy as well as light vehicles. One of these driving licenses must have been issued at least five years ago. (iii) The driving test of heavy as well as light vehicles will be conducted. (iv) Punjabi up to Matric standard. (v) Must have five years of practical experience in motor driving.
