Pant National Institute of Himalayan Environment (NIHE), Uttarakhand has invited online applications for the recruitment of Junior Project Fellow, Field Assistant and Other Positions 2020. 1. Junior Project Fellow (Water security in Himalayan through Spring-Ecosystem Assessment and Management): 01 Vacancy
Qualification: First class Master degree in Geology, Geography, Hydrology, Remote Sensing/GIS/ Environmental Science/ Physical sciences or relevant disciplines.
2. Junior Project Fellow (Community driven eco-smart model village development to improve livelihoods and foster ecological security in the Himalaya): 01 Vacancy
Qualification: First class Master degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Agriculture/ Environment Science/ Social Science/ Natural Resource Management or relevant disciplines.
3. Junior Project Fellow (Fostering Climate Smart Communities in the Indian Himalayan Region): 01 Vacancy
Qualification: First Class Master Degree in Physical, Environmental, Geology, Geography, Earth Sciences/Natural Resource Management/Remote Sensing &GIS/ Environmental Management or relevant subjects.
4. Junior Project Fellow (Mainstreaming Himalayan Biodiversity for Sustainable Development): 01 Vacancy
Qualification: First Class Master degree in Botany/Forestry/Zoology/ Environment Science/ Life Science or relevant disciplines.
5. Field Assistant: 01 Vacancy
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline or Intermediate with 5-years experience in relevant field in the Himalaya.
6. Himalayan Junior Project Fellow: 01 Vacancy
Qualification: First Class Master degree in Botany/ Forestry/ Environment Science/ Agriculture/Natural Resource Management/ Life Science, or relevant disciplines.
