AYJNISHD Admission 2020: UG & PG Courses Application Form & Eligibilities

AYJNISHD UG & PG Courses Admission 2020: Ali Yavar Jung National Institute of Speech and Hearing Disabilities (AYJNIHH-DIVYANGJAN), Mumbai has invited online applications for admission to the following RCI recognized UG & PG courses offered at AYJNISHD (D) and its Regional Centres at Noida, Kolkata, Secunderabad and Janla (Odissa) and Composite Regional Centres at Bhopal and Ahmedabad. It provides clinical, educational and rehabilitation services in a whole life perspective for persons with hearing impairment and communication disorders and is also engaged in research and development.

AYJNISHD UG & PG Courses Admission 2020:

A. In the Field of Speech & Hearing:
1. M.Sc. Audiology
Qualification: B.Ed (HI) or any other equivalent degree from a UGC recognized university with 50% aggregate marks, or B.Ed (SE-DE) (HI) recognized by RCI with 50% aggregate marks and one-year teaching experience after completion of the course, or B.Ed (General) with 50% aggregate marks and D.Ed (HI)/D.Ed.SE (DHH) or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks.

2. Master of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (MASLP)
Qualification: Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology or any equivalent degree recognized by the respective University and RCI or Internship mandatory post.

3. Bachelor of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP)
Qualification:
Mumbai Centre: 10+2/HSC in India or abroad passed with Physics, Chemistry and any one of the following; Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics and Psychology.
Kolkata Centre: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science and English and any other 5th subject.
New Delhi Centre: Passed or appearing in 12th class from CBSE or equivalent with minimum aggregate 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Secunderabad Centre: 10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and any of the following; Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Electronics, Psychology.

4. Diploma in Hearing, Language & Speech (DHLS)
Qualification: 10+2 passed with PCB/PCM or its equivalent from a recognized Board of Education

 

B. In the Field of Hearing Impairment:
1. Master of Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) M.Ed. Spl.Ed. (HI)
Qualification: Bachelor degree in Arts/Science/Commerce from UGC recognized University with 50% marks and on merit of entrance test.

2. Bachelor of Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) B.Ed. Spl.Ed. (HI)
Qualification: i) For Mumbai and Kolkata eligibility is degree (3 years) in any discipline of equivalent from any UGC recognized University and on the basis of merit in the entrance exam; ii) For Secunderabad centre the eligibility is degree in any discipline (B.Sc/BA/B.Com from Osmania University or its equivalent from any other University), with minimum aggregate marks of 45% for Gen / OBC/PWDs and 40% for SC/ST category.

3. Bachelor of Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) B.Ed. Spl.Ed. (HI)
Qualification: i) For Mumbai and Kolkata eligibility is degree (3 years) in any discipline of equivalent from any UGC recognized University and on the basis of merit in the entrance exam; ii) For Secunderabad centre the eligibility is degree in any discipline (B.Sc/BA/B.Com from Osmania University or its equivalent from any other University), with minimum aggregate marks of 45% for Gen / OBC/PWDs and 40% for SC/ST category.

4. Diploma in Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [D.Ed. Spl. Edu.(HI)]
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board of Education with minimum marks 45% for General category (40% for SC/ST/PH).

5. Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpreter course [DISLIC]
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board of education or; Preference will be given to candidates with higher qualification.

6. Post Graduate Diploma in Auditory Verbal Therapy (PGDAVT)
Qualification: B.ASLP/B.Ed (HI) or graduate with DSE (HI)/DHLS/DTY (HI) registered with RCI.

 

C. In the Field of Autism Spectrum Disorders & Intellectual Disability:
1. Diploma in – Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorders)
Qualification: PG Diploma or graduation in Journalism/Communication/Public Relations/Advertising/ Mass Media from a recognized University/Institute with minimum of 50% marks. Post Graduate Degree or Graduation from a recognized Institute/University in any subject with a minimum of 50% marks.

2. Diploma in – Special Education (Intellectual Disability)
Qualification: Passed 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with minimum 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST/PH.

Selection Process: Application and Prospectus can be obtained from Institute (or) Applicant may get application for by post, submitting a demand draft in favour of “The Director, AYJNIHH, Mumbai”, payable at Mumbai for Rs.750/- for General Category and Rs.450/- for SC/ST/PH/OBC (Fees in the form of cash or cheque will not be accepted).

Admission for Diploma in Hearing, Language & Speech (DHLS), Diploma in Education Special Education (Hearing Impairment) [D.Ed. Spl. Edu.(HI)], Diploma in Indian Sign Language Interpreter course[DISLIC], and Diploma in Education – Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorders) will be through All India Online Aptitude Test (AIOAT) conducted by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi.
