Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS), Vijayawada invites online application for admission into BAMS, BHMS, BNYS & BUMS Courses in all the Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani and Naturopathy Medical Colleges affiliated to Dr.NTR UHS for the academic year 2019-20 under Competent Authority Quota seats i.e., the seats in Government Ayurveda, Homoeopathy & Unani Colleges and Competent Authority Seats in Private Unaided Non-Minority Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Naturopathy Medical Colleges under Dr. NTRUHS, Vijayawada.
1. BAMS/BHMS/BNYS/BUMS Courses
Eligibility Criteria: The candidates who secured the cutoff marks and more in The NEET UG 2019 conducted by national testing agency and Fulfilled the following criteria are eligible for admission into BAMS, BHMS, BNYS & BUMS courses and they have to get Their certificates verified as per schedule to be notified by the University. The candidate should be an Indian National or Person of Indian Origin (PIO) /Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holder and should satisfy the Local or Non-local status in Andhra Pradesh.
For BAMS/BNYS Courses: The candidate must have passed intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent examination recognized by the concerned State Government and Education Board with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of fifty per cent. marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the aforesaid qualifying examination in the case of general category and forty per cent. Marks in the case of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes.
For BHMS courses: The candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50 per cent marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the qualifying Examinations mentioned above for OC candidates and 40 per cent marks in respect of SC/ST/BCs; or
The intermediate examination in science of an Indian University or Board or other recognized examining body with Physics, Chemistry and Biology which shall include a practical test in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject; or
The pre-professional or pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, after passing either the higher secondary school examination, or the pre-university or an equivalent Examination, which shall include a practical test in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and also English as a compulsory subject; or
The first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognized University, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed 10+2 with English at a level not less than a core course; or
Any other examination which, in scope and standard is found to be equivalent to the intermediate science examination of an Indian University or Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects and English as a compulsory subject;
For BUMS Course: Candidates seeking admission into BUMS should have passed.
Age Limit: The Candidate should have completed 17 years of age on the 31-12-2019 for all courses. The candidates born on or after 02-01-2003 are not eligible for admission into BAMS/BHMS/ BUMS/BNYS Course.
Application Process:
The online application form for determining merit position for Competent Authority quota seats through NEET UG 2019 scores will be available on the website https://apmedadm.ntruhs.ap.gov.in 22.06.2019 from 11.00 AM to 28.06.2019 5.00 PM. The candidates are advised to take a printout of the Prospectus / Instructions to fill the application from the website http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in or from https://apmedadm.ntruhs.ap.gov.in before proceeding to fill the application form. The candidate should fill the online application form available in the Website with the data required-for, through internet. The online application form can be filled through any computer with an internet connection (home/internet café/net center). The candidate is advised to fill the online application form after going through the Prospectus by keeping all the Certificates ready to enter his/her correct data.
Registration Fee: The registration and verification fee is Rs. 3540/- (Including GST) plus Bank charges extra for OC/BC categories and Rs.2950/- (Including GST) plus Bank charges extra for SC/ST categories. The candidate should sign at the declaration area in the printout of the online application form. The candidates need not submit Printout of Application by post/by hand to the University.
