New Delhi: HRD Ministry of India declared that it was preparing a citizen's charter to bring more transparency in its functioning.

In this charter 25 working days has been include for releasing funds for any programme. For copyright, it takes 15 days has been fixed and beyond 25 days, it will get a 'poor rating'.

Grievance redressal will also be contain in the charter, for which officials have been recruited. "The charter will provide greater opportunities of access to higher education with equity to all the eligible persons and in particular to the vulnerable sections," a ministry official said.

citizen's charter is among the demands by the Anna Hazare-led civil society group, which has been leading nationwide agitation for anti-corruption Lokpal bill.
