Party planning is a relatively new field in India but it has become very popular within a very short span of time. Party planning offers an exciting opportunity for fun loving people who want to earn money while enjoying what they do. A party planner’s job might sound simple but it is a very challenging job.

A party planner is hired for planning and organizing different types of parties such as birthday parties, bar/bat mitzvah, anniversary parties, children’s parties, etc. Party planners are also known as party consultants and work in many capacities depending on the requirement of their client.

Qualities that You Need to Have:

A person aspiring to become a successful professional party planner should have a good imagination and business sense. A party planner must be a creative and an organized person. Good interpersonal and communication skills are also essential to have if one wants to excel in this field.

Eligibility:

No particular educational qualification is required for being able to pursue party planning as a career; however, it would be better to undergo a course in management for getting knowledge about managing and organizing events, big and small.
