B.S. Programmes 2012

Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore invites application for admission to B.S. Programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Materials, Mathematics, and Physics 2012.

Selection Process: The selection will be based on the merit lists of the following national examinations; KVPY-SA-2010 (selected as fellows), KVPY-SB (appeared in 2011), KVPY-SX (appeared in 2011), IIT-JEE (appearing in 2012), AIEEE (appearing in 2012), and AIPMT (appearing in 2012)

Commencement of submission of online applications: 01st February, 2012
Last Date : For submission of online applications: 30th April, 2012
Last Date : For receipt of printed copy of online application form at IISc: 07th May, 2012

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was conceived as a 'Research Institute' or 'University of Research' by Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, in the final years of the 19th century. A long period of almost thirteen years was to elapse from the initial conception in 1896 to the birth of the institute on May 27, 1909. The early history of the Institute is a fascinating chapter in the story of higher education and scientific research in India.
