KVS Syllabus For The Post Of Principal Assistant Junior Stenographer UDC and LDC

I. Principal
For Principal there will be two papers. The first paper will be (objective type) consisting of General Awareness Psychology (35), Educational Methododology, Aptitude, Reasoning and Data Sufficiency (40). The second paper will have three parts. The first part shall test the Bilingual competence – (objective) (50) and the second part Written communication skill (subjective) (50). The third part will be descriptive type focusing on the Contemporary Social, Economic and Cultural issues besides General Problem on Financial Management carrying 100 marks.

II. Assistant, UDC Jr Steno and LDC
The written examination will be objective type for Non-Teaching Posts. Paper-I (General Paper) will be containing 100 objective type questions with four multiple choice answers in the subject like General English (20), General Hindi (20), General Knowledge (20), Quantitative Aptitude (20) and Reasoning (20). The duration of the paper will be 2 hours. For the post of Assistant the objective type examination will be followed by a descriptive examination of 3 hours duration, i.e. paper-II containing in English and Hindi languages to test the subject competency of candidates. For the post of Jr. Stenographer, UDC and LDC, the candidates qualifying in the objective type examination will be required to appear for a practical test, i . e., paper-II/III/IV and II, III respectively consisting of computer operation test, typing test, shorthand test, the date and time will be intimated separately to the short list candidates.

Rajasthan Management Admission Test (RMAT-2010) For Admission to First Year of MBA Course for the Session 2010-2011.

Please check whether the printed serial number is same on every item viz. (i) Outer Envelope (ii) Inner Envelop (iii) OMR Application Form (iv) Manual Application Form, before leaving the bank counters. In case of any discrepancy return the complete application form to the issuing bank in exchange of new one. Application forms with different serial numbers are liable for rejection

(A) INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES APPEARING IN RMAT-2010
1. SET OF RMAT-2010 FORM The set of RMAT-2010 form consists of the following:
(a) RMAT-2010 Application Form – It is in the form of OMR sheet which is to be filled in by the candidate using BLACK BALL POINT PEN ONLY in his/her own handwriting (Use HB pencil for darkening the bubbles). It should neither be folded nor stapled in any case. Information as required in manual application form shall also be filled. The candidate shall submit both (OMR and manual) application forms simultaneously.
(b) Information Booklet – This booklet consists of 16 pages. It contains Instructions, Sample Questions and Sample answer sheet etc., for the guidance of the candidates about RMAT-2010. It is to be retained by the candidate for his/her own use. The candidate should read the booklet carefully before filling up the application form and Examination Scheme carefully to prepare for RMAT-2010 accordingly.
(c) One Big Envelope - Duly filled RMAT-2010 application forms (OMR & Manual) with all enclosures should be placed in this envelope and sent to the Coordinator, RMAT-2010, Govt. Mahila Engineering College, Nasirabad Road, Makhupura, Ajmer-305002 (Rajasthan) by Registered post/Speed post (not by courier).

The same can also be dropped in the locked drop box kept in the RMAT-2010 Office, Govt. Mahila Engineering College, Nasirabad Road, Makhupura, Ajmer-305002. In any case, the Application Form should not be handed over to any person.

Note : Place all the enclosures stapled together in the envelope. Do not staple them with OMR sheet. Do not use any other envelope.

2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
A candidate must ensure that he/she is eligible for admission to various Government aided and private unaided institutions of Rajasthan conducting MBA course before filling up the RMAT-2010 Application Form. If a non-eligible candidate is admitted due to any reason then the admission of such a candidate will be cancelled as soon as the mistake is detected even at later stage. Appearing in RMAT-2010 or counseling does not define eligibility or right to admission.

Various eligibility criteria for admission to MBA course shall be as under:
2.1 EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
The candidates must possess Graduate (10+2+3) degree or equivalent from any recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST and Non creamy layer OBC candidates), without any approximation in the Graduate Examination. However, the candidate appearing for the qualifying examination (Graduate Degree) in 2010, will also be permitted to appear in the admission test but their admission will be provisional subject to furnishing the mark sheet of qualifying examination (with the prescribed eligibility) by 31st July, 2010 to the Coordinator, RMAT-2010. Final year appearing students are required to submit a certificate from college/institution (Cerfiticate-6). Non-Collegiate students shall get the certificate-6 signed by the centre/university.
2.2 DOMICILE CRITERIA
RMAT-2010 is open to the candidates of Rajasthan Domicile only. The domicile status of Rajasthan of any candidates will be ascertained as per any one of the following criteria.

Domicile Category – A
The candidate himself / herself or any of his / her natural parents (father / mother) is a bonafide resident of Rajasthan. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (i)]
OR
Domicile Category – B
Candidate has studied continuously as a regular student in recognized educational institutions in Rajasthan for the preceding five years upto and including the year in which he/she has passed the qualifying examination. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (ii)]
OR
Domicile Category – C
Candidate is a son/daughter of either a serving employee or of a retired employee of any of the following: [Refer Certificate No. 1(iii)]
(i) Government of Rajasthan (including officers of All India Service borne on the State cadre of Rajasthan).
(ii) Undertakings/ Corporations/ Improvement Trusts/ MunicipalBoards/Panchayat Samities / Cooperative Bodies duly constituted by the Government of Rajasthan.
(iii) Statutory Bodies and Corporations formed under the Indian Companies Act incorporated in Rajasthan.
OR
Domicile Category – C
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of the Universities in Rajasthan or Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or Government aided Engineering Colleges of Rajasthan who has put in at least three years service on the date of submission of application in any of the above bodies. [Refer Certificate No.
1 (iv)]
OR
Domicile Category – C
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of Central Government or Institutions of the Central Government including Public Sector Undertakings or Corporations and who is on the regular rolls and is serving in the State of Rajasthan on the date of submission of application. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (v)]
OR
Domicile Category – C
Candidate is a son/daughter of an employee of Rajasthan origin, serving in Defence/Central Government services/Public Sector undertakings/National Institutes of Government of India, who has put in at least three years service on the last date of submission of application irrespective of his/her place of posting provided a certificate is submitted by the employee from the employer to this effect stating the State of origin and the home town as given by him/her at the time of his/her entry into service. [Refer Certificate No. 1 (vi)]

Note:
1. Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S) and the Defense Killed (DK) persons should be of Rajasthan origin for eligibility of their children in these categories. The State of origin and home town as entered in the discharge certificate shall only be accepted as proof in respect of the above. A copy of discharge certificate and PPO must necessarily be enclosed to seek reservation/ relaxation in this category. The discharge certificate and PPO must be produced in original at the time of Counseling. For the wards of defense personnel from other State but serving in the State of Rajasthan, the domicile condition is waved off to enable them to appear in the entrance test and be selected in general quota. However, they would not be eligible for Ex-S/DK category.
2. Sons/daughters of the displaced persons from Jammu & Kashmir (KM) shall be eligible for admission through RMAT-2010. The candidate has to submit a certificate from the competent authority as a proof of being son/daughter of a displaced person from Jammu & Kashmir.
COST OF RMAT-2010 APPLICATION FORM
3.1 The cost of RMAT-2010 Application Form is Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only). It also includes RMAT-2010 examination fees.
3.2 This amount is neither refundable nor transferable/adjustable for future RMAT.
3.3 A plea that the candidate failed to receive the information for appearing in RMAT-2010 will not be accepted as a ground for the refund of this amount or any other dues.
3.4 The application forms can be obtained from the specified bank given in notification in news papers.
4. SUBMISSION OF RMAT-2010 APPLICATION FORM
The complete RMAT-2010 Application Form duly filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting can be submitted through any one of the following modes so as to reach the RMAT-2010 office, on or before 05.00 P.M. of 25th March, 2010 irrespective of the fact whether 25th March, 2010 is a working day or not. Send your form timely, the coordinator RMAT-2010 shall not be responsible for any postal delay.
(i) By Registered Post/ Speed Post (not by courier in any case) to
Coordinator RMAT- 2010,

Ajmer-305002(Rajasthan)
(ii) In the locked drop box placed at the RMAT-2010 office. In any case, the Application Form should not be handed over to any person. No other institute/agency is authorized to collect the form on behalf of RMAT-2010. Forms sent through courier shall not be accepted

ADMISSION CARD FOR RMAT-2010
Admission Card for RMAT-2010 will be sent to the candidate at his/heraddress as mentioned in RMAT-2010 Application Form. The Coordinator RMAT-2010 reserve the right to withdraw the permission granted by mistake to a candidate who is not eligible to appear in RMAT-2010 even though the admission Card has been issued and produced by the candidate before the Centre Superintendent of RMAT-2010. In case the admission card is not received by the candidate till 17th May, 2010, the candidate may contact the coordinator RMAT-2010 immediately by fax giving his/her RMAT-2010 form no., mailing address and test centre requested. Such candidates are advised to bring two passport size photographs (same as pasted on application form) at the time of examination along with the photocopy of application form and photo identity card such as driving license, voter card etc.

EXAMINATION SCHEME
The test will consist of 200 multiple choice questions with 4 alternative answers. The correct choice of answer is to be filled in the OMR sheet using Black Ball Point Pen. Duration of the test will be 150 minutes (2 l/ 2 Hours). There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
